|The Angelus was Dobro's least expensive offering before WWII. The instrument featured a different cover plate than its more expensive siblings, was built without a soundwell, and featured painted-on faux bindings. Still, it did what it did well, and the model sold in great numbers during the Depression.|
This instrument was given to Brian Foster, a fine leatherworker, guitar player & banjo player. I believe that this instrument was given to him as a basketcase wall instrument. It was left to Mike Nelson on Brians death and was gifted to me as it's last hope of salvation.
